Verified Before Presented
No property reaches a client without a completed title search, physical inspection, and price benchmarking. This eliminates the most common sources of disappointment in Garissa's property transactions.
About the agency
Echohastro has been advising Garissa's property market since 2017 — methodically, transparently, and without shortcuts.
Echohastro is a Garissa-based real estate agency providing sales facilitation, residential and commercial rentals, independent property valuation, and investment consulting across Garissa County and the wider North-Eastern region of Kenya. We were established in 2017 by a small team of property professionals who had observed a consistent gap in the market: clients were being served by generalist brokers who lacked deep local knowledge and had no structured process for verifying properties before presenting them. Our response was to build an agency that operates more like a concierge service than a traditional brokerage — one dedicated advisor per client engagement, full transparency on documentation status, and a clear separation between our advisory role and any transactional incentive. Today, after more than seven years of operation and over 340 completed engagements across sales, rentals, and valuations, that founding principle remains intact. Every client interaction begins with listening: we ask about your timeline, your financial parameters, your risk tolerance, and your long-term intentions before we make a single recommendation. This is not a sales script — it is how good advice is structured.
Our team of six licensed advisors operates exclusively within Garissa County and selected border areas of Wajir and Tana River Counties. We do not maintain listings in Nairobi, Mombasa, or other major urban centres — clients seeking properties in those markets will receive an honest referral to a vetted colleague rather than an overstretched service. Within our operating area, we work across the full spectrum: first-time buyers purchasing a modest plot in Iftin, experienced investors assembling multi-unit rental portfolios near the university, and corporate clients requiring commercial space with documented title. Our valuation service produces written reports suitable for bank financing, insurance purposes, or estate administration — but the accuracy of any valuation depends on the quality of registry data available at the time of the search, and we are transparent when that data is incomplete or contested. We carry professional indemnity cover and operate under the Estate Agents Act, Cap 533 of the Laws of Kenya. Our fees are disclosed in writing before any engagement begins — there are no hidden charges, and our retainer structure means our incentive is to serve you well, not simply to close quickly. If a property does not meet our verification standards, we will tell you before you waste time on a viewing. That is the standard we hold ourselves to, and it is the reason the majority of our new clients come through referral from people we have already served.
These are operational commitments, not aspirational slogans.

You speak with the same person from first call to final signature. Handovers between staff members are a primary cause of dropped details — we eliminate them by design.
Our retainer and success-fee structure is set out in writing before any engagement begins. You will never receive an unexpected invoice from Echohastro.
“We engaged Echohastro to value a commercial property for estate purposes in early 2023. The report arrived within ten working days, was accepted by our bank without amendment, and the advisor answered every follow-up question promptly. That level of professionalism is what the Garissa market needs more of.”
